There are so many places & Palaces to Visit such as :-

  • Quila Mubarak (Patiala Fort):- It was build by Baba Ala Singh in 1763 who was the founder of Patiala Dynasty .Quila Mubarak is a Largest Heritage Building which is situated in the heart of the city.It is very old building situated around the Bazar( Old Market).
  • Old Moti Bagh Palace (NIS National Institute of Sports North Wing):-Old Moti Bagh Asia's Largest building build by Maharaja Narender Singh in 1843. In Present Old Moti Bagh also known as NIS (National Institute of Sports) the estimated cost for building was 5 Lakh. The architecture of Moti Bagh Palace was designed after the marvelous Shalimar Gardens, Lahore after  India got Independence in the year 1947, Maharaja Yadavindra Singh presented this great building to the Indian administration. The Indian Government used the part of this Royal Residence as Museum and a taxidermy art gallery. The North Zone Cultural Center is also here.

  • Sheesh Mahal ( Palace of Mirror):-Sheesh Mahal Palace also a part of Old Moti Bagh it situated just behind Old Moti Bagh Palace build by Maharaja Narender Singh in 1847.In the past time its was the guest house of Royal family.It is a triple storey building. There is a bridge across the artificial lake in the center of the palace. This bridge is known as Lakshman Jhoola. The Medal collection of Maharaja Bhupinder Singh and Maharaja Yadwinder Singh from all over the world lies in the museum of Sheesh Mahal. There are about 3200 medals collected from different countries of the world by Maharaja from 12 to 20th century. There is also a collection of coins of 19th century. 
  • Shahi Samadan ( The Royal Cremation Place):-its is situated near Quila Mubarak Built in the time of Maharaja Narender Singh.There is Tomb of Baba Ala Singh & other Maharajas of Patiala. It is also a Starting Point of Patiala Heritage Walk.
